Flyposter Episode 16
There’s a lot going on in this episode as Gill and I rushed down to the Astoria to get a few words with The Blood Red Shoes and watch their sound check for the live gig that night, with the Kooks on the NME tour…Meanwhile Michael and Brian seemed to have gained access to the Wondercom comic book festival in SanFrancisco. They have press passes? Maybe they give them ot to lifelong members of the Comic Book Monthly, we can only guess. But believe it or not we have to thank them whole heartedly as Brian gets to show off his guns, with none other than Lou Ferrigno! Yes, THE INCREDIBLE HULK! And guess what, we get a scoop on a new Hulk film! The movies coming out in June this year. Ed Norton, William Hurt, Tim Roth, and Liv Tyler all star along the great man, and when I say great I mean it! Check out this…

Back at the Astoria, we realise that the sound check is being filmed by others… a crew were capturing the set, to use for the new music vid, keep your eyes peeled for yours truly and Miss Mills, as outbursts from front of house could only have helped their performance…This week from the PMN we have yanky picks: some punk rock from Brian with a stonking ‘Supersonic’ by Bad Religion. Michael tones down with ‘Light Speed Champion’ by Galaxy of the Lost and video pick ‘Hologram World’ by Tiny Masters of Today. The Limey goes for ‘I Like You Like A Madman’ by The Wave Pictures, ‘Patty Lee’ by Les Savy Fav and video ‘Death to Los Campesinos’ by Los Campesinos….Michael and, more to the point, Brian, get a little frisky with the comic book nerdettes, and there is a hint of bodily fluids being exchanged. Nice one Brian, always taking one for the team…
